Short Details : National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the CSIR-UGC NET Examination twice a year for
JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) and Lectureship / Assistant Professorship.
For December 2025 cycle, the CSIR-UGC NET Application Form has been released and the correction window is now open.

Application Fee
  • General : Rs. 1150/-
  • EWS, OBC NCL : Rs. 600/-
  • SC, ST : Rs. 325/-
  • Fee payment through Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI

Age Limit
  • JRF : Maximum 30 Years
  • Lectureship / Assistant Professor : No Age Limit
  • Age Relaxation applicable as per NTA rules.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must have:

  • M.Sc. or Equivalent Degree with 55% Marks (General / OBC)
  • 50% Marks for SC / ST / PH
  • Candidates with B.E / B.Tech / MBBS / B.Pharma / Integrated Courses are also eligible.
